God's Promises are True and Everlasting

"For all the

promises of God

in Christ

are Yes"

He remembers His covenant forever, the word which He commanded for a thousand generations Psalms 105:8
Isn't that just beautiful? that God will remember the word that He has given us forevermore. Not just today or tomorrow. You know, it becomes an eternal thing. Especially in this day and age where you cannot place your expectation on man (human beings). Nor can you hold on so tightly, as a matter of life and death, to a word or promise that someone gave ; just because they said so. The only being we can completely rely on, place our 100 percent trust on no matter the circumstances, is God. "For all the promises of God in Him(Christ) are Yes." 2Corinthians 1:20

We can never be disappointed and we hold on to the word that we believe in, the word from God. No matter how rough it gets or the challenges that we face, His word will come to pass. When the Israelites were held in bondage in Israel, God heard their groaning and He remembered His covenant with Abraham. Actually Scripture just says that "they cried out" and not necessarily that they cried out to God. When He heard them He remembered His covenant, the promise that He had made to Abraham and He freed them.

Throughout their journey in the wilderness, they complained and tested God and He could have destroyed them. But then again He is merciful, He considered and "remembered His holy promise, and Abraham His servant." Psalms 105:42 Note the word "Holy"; God's promises are not only true, but also holy. They have been given by a righteous and holy being. Scriptures also says that;
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19
This is powerful! So you can be sure that He will not be giving an apology because He did not make it happen. What He said He will do, not as we human beings do. Nor is He rush with words, that He will say something just for the sake of that moment then realizes afterwards that it cannot happen. Even we ourselves sometimes make promises to others, worse still to ourselves and later forget or change with a change in circumstances.
If you are looking for a place you can lay your head; for a foundation that you can completely put your trust on; for someone you can rely on...then God is the way to go. Jesus is the answer. And He has said that He will never leave us.

The only condition is that we believe in Him; that we believe in Jesus Christ and accept His love and redemption for us. The truth in God's promises was further affirmed when He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice for our sins, just so that we could be redeemed; He kept His covenant with Abraham. Genesis 12:3

What is your opinion on this? I would like to hear from you..
