About the Floods - The Days of Noah? (Dreams)

 I have had a number of dreams around rain, floods, water...such.

At that time though, before there were floods this year (2024), I was trying to understand what the dreams meant. This is actually one of the reasons why I started posting.

Some weeks ago I was thinking about this, wondering why I'm still having dreams around floods, overflows, etc. And like some of us, I wondered if they were pointing to something or what is the Lord Jesus doing or saying?

I will tell you more about that, but first let me share some of the things that I have seen after the floods:

1. Just after the floods ceased in May, I was praying and a picture came to my mind. I saw a white car on a flooded road. It was either being carried away by the water or caught in the water or just moving through the water.

2. I had a dream. I think I was on my way home or going through my day. I remember passing youths from my former church in the church where I grew up. There were some activities they may have been doing or going somewhere. Some were on the bus and others in the compound. 

I went past them and continued with my journey. At this point I was going home and it had rained. I was wearing white sports shoes. The road home was very muddy and I didn't want to get my shoes dirty. It was a wide road. I stood there and tried to see if there was another way that I could take. On my left was like a narrow way with car tracks. It was less muddy. I could take that path, but then when I got to the end I would still have to go right up in a road that was still muddy.

I see two people coming through the path.

Then suddenly, I see a great amount of water rushing down the muddy wide road. It sweeps off a person that was coming towards me and I knew that it was going to sweep off another person walking in front of him.

3. This dream is a little different. I'm in my dad's store, selling. He has extended his shop in the dream and is selling electrical wires in the new space. I tell him that I need to get somewhere then I'll come back. I go to the other end of the market but I am not able to find my way back. I ask some men if they know my dad's shop (like a child would) & they try to drug me. Before passing out I come back to consciousness & generally fight them. 

* I thought this dream was an attack, but the end made me think otherwise. Also, this is not in the context of the floods, but later on I had another dream of being drugged. And around the same time I came across a post on FB of a woman whose child was stolen in the CBD, Nairobi, by a person who pretended to be a good samaritan when the woman got unwell. It seemed she may have been drugged. I just thought I should point this out for us to pray on this & be careful. *

To continue with the dream,

I decided to use another tactic to inquire of my dad's shop. Just as I am asking another person, I spot my dad in the market. He is at a belt's store (kibanda). It seems he's getting a belt. I move to him, but I don't get his attention. Then the dream's scenery changes.

I am going home. I come across a person that I think I know. This person has a show in the theatre and I go to see it. Daymond of the "Shark Tank" TV show is also there. It seems this person knows him and was able to convince him to attend. At some point I wonder how a person of such caliber was doing in an amateur show. Then I remember that I was going home & quickly continue with my journey.

I am with my daughter at this point and we are walking quickly so that we don't miss our transport home. Seems it's a boat. We get there and it is just leaving. We have just missed it. I notice that it's a big ship and what comes to my mind is the Titanic. 

I quickly notice that water is filling up at the entrance of the space where we were. So we start making our way back to where we coming from, but then I look up. I see the ship on top of us. It is like I was seeing through water to see the ship.

- When I woke up I thought, "does that mean we were under water?"

I would have dismissed this dream as an attack if it had not been for the ship.

- I thought a lot about the dream even days later. Then as I was trying to figure out what the ship and the flooding could be referring to. This came to my mind - Noah's Ark.

And I thought, the floods and the ship could be pointing to Noah's time. Jesus said that the last days would be like Noah's time. (Matthew 24:32-39)

"...But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 

And did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

★There are several dreams (not just around water) including the Giant Mermaids Dream that I shared; where it seems like I miss something or don't do something on time and I find myself in trouble.

→ I think that there is a transition (don't know what to call it) happening or that will happen, which we could miss out on if we are not careful. I think that this may be what God is warning us about. 

Some of the reasons of missing out or not crossing over so far have been; faith, distractions, there's one where I was sleeping...

★ Also take note of my dad buying a belt. In Ephesians part of the armor that we should put on is the belt of truth. We are told to gird our waist with the belt of truth. Soldiers would hold their clothing with the belt for easy movement.

4. One more short dream on the same that I had on 26/07/2024.

I was sleeping on the couch. In the dream, I see my daughter come to the door from school. It's pretty late, around 6p.m or past. In the dream I am still lying on the couch towards the door. Her shoes are full of mud because of the rains. 

It's like I wake up and dose off again immediately. I see my child again at our door from school. It's later than before, around 7p.m. Her shoes have more mud than before and she goes to clean. At that time I'm confused because I thought I had just seen her come home earlier.

I knew this dream was about heavy rains or floods because the seasonal river in this place had also flooded during the floods and it does in very heavy rains. You would also have to cross that river to get to some schools including my child's.
