A Note For You As You Begin A New Year

Happy New Year to you, Happy New Chapters, resolutions, expectations...everything that you are looking forward to that is in accordance with God's will; may it be met. However, these are the fundamental things that you should know as you begin a new year; that Christmas is not a just a time to have merry, to give each other gifts, for family gatherings, et cetera. Christmas came with the commemoration of the God's enduring love for mankind, when He gave His only Son as the ultimate sacrifice for the sins that man has committed. This way, we could be acceptable before God and experience everlasting life just like He had planned since He created man.

Why am I talking about Christmas in a post about New Years? Because, first, these two are closely associated because of the time they are celebrated. Secondly, it is all about new beginnings, great life expectations, Hope. This is Hope. Jesus is hope; that nothing is impossible; even when we have reached the end, it is not the end yet. Can you imagine if we lived life with no hope? We would have nothing to look forward to each day... However, "hope" without God is just an expectation that may not be, while Hope based on Him is Assured.

Thirdly, what better way to begin a new year than with Christ in your life. So, this is what you should know; God is Love. His love is directed at you and everything that He created. God loves you. The proof of His love is Jesus Christ. God wants us to love Him too; He wants to save us. We can only love Him by accepting Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made and He can only save us through the same. You should also know; The World condemns; people may condemn; But Jesus came to set us free.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17

Make the best decision that you will ever make in your Life and accept His love today. Your life will never be never be the same.
No, it's not a cliché, it is as real as it is written in the Scriptures
